So… how did it go?
Reporting on my questions because I remember them better:
1. I asked about the multiple cracks on the streets (old and new). Streets are the city’s responsibility; nothing HOA can do. So may I encourage you to contact the City of Thornton to express your concern as a resident about this issue? The cracks were patched a few years ago but are not open and increasing in size. New cracks are opening. We need our streets taken care of by the City (our tax dollars at work).
2. Trash pick-up related to Mondays that fall on a Holiday. This coming Labor Day, trash pick-up will be on Tuesday 9/6 according to a post by one of the board members https://www.republicservices.com/schedule
3. Reported water waste on common lawn areas due to sprinkler heads misalignment, lawn areas that need reseeding, and excessive weeds on common grounds. The standard answer, HOA will talk to the lawn guy. Next time I am asking about a plan to resolve the issue.
4. There is a new HOA Manager Tammy Osborne. She seemed straightforward and someone geared to take action. She has experience managing HOA but is not exclusively dedicated to RH HOA. Positive first impression.
